Missions

In the role of a PreSales Solution Consultant with Industry focus (Mendix), you’ll drive digital innovation by:

  • Providing product presentations, demonstrations, proof of concepts and benchmark support for customers (both online and onsite)
  • Running technical deep dive and architecture sessions with customers and partners
  • Facilitating workshops with customers to understand their application portfolio and find the best places for them to apply the Mendix Platform linked to the Siemens PLM software portfolio
  • Advocate and drive the development of the portfolio through the identification of a clear target market and Go-To-Market Strategy, and the execution of campaign and initiative centered strategies to leverage and maximize software opportunities:
  • Describing the industry specific value propositions of Mendix
  • Determining potential target customer segments
  • Providing sales presentations dedicated to the target segments
  • Identify key opportunities for the zone, defining the industry, geography and target accounts
  • Work with Sales Account Managers and Sales Executives to build strategic plans for identified customers and opportunities in the target market to deliver the go to market strategy

Profile

  • The ability to function independently in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
  • Good communication skills with sales knowledge, business development experience and excellent presentation skills
  • A degree or significant professional experience in engineering, manufacturing and/or business administration
  • Experience working with complex application architecture, comparing and contrasting technologies against middleware, BPM, SOA, 4GL, etc
  • Good understanding of the aPaaS/PasS and cloud market space is a plus
  • First experience with HTML, CSS, Java, XML, SOAP, SQL
  • As you mainly will be working with our German speaking customers, being fluent in speaking German is a must have
