Tasks

The main missions of the role are to:

  • Ensure PC&L competencies within the plants according transports. Lead workshops and train plant PC&L on transport FES/FCP standards. 5transports programs, Milkruns, Consolidation, Distribution - Center etc.)
  • Identify improvment potentials and gaps within transport inside the plants and division regarding transport costs, truck utilization and forwarder MPM.
  • Lead PC&L projects in following areas:
  • Definition and implementation of milkruns (local & multi-site & multi BG)
  • Transport optimization Inbound and Outbound (according truck utilization, etc...)
  • Transport costs reduction
  • Optimization of the supply chain 
  • Integrate new IT-Tools to support the plant PC&L for transport programs and capacity calculation 
  • Support plant PC&L during crisis Management (forwarder issues, coordination Transports & Logistics Purchasing...)
  • Support plant PC&L during and coordinate with Transport & Logistics Purchasing to define best forwarder strategy, manage reduction / definiton of forwarder panel, of transport price for regular / exceptional transport (ground, sea, air) and definiton of transport specifications in line with target, guidelines, vision (lead time reduction) 
  • Consolidate and track Transport performance, data, actions, potentials and report to Division PC&L Manager.
  • Contact person inside FAE NED regarding Transport
  • Take part in meetings on Group level for Transport issues and definition of standards.

This VIE will start on APRIL 2013 for 12 months.

  • V.I.E enables French companies to send people between 18 and 28 years on a working assignment abroad.
  • It is open to french citizen and as well European Economic Area recent graduates (Master degree).
