Area Sales Manager - Gas detection equipment, Germany (Home Office)

Our client develops, manufactures, and services fixed and portable gas detection equipment.
They are active worldwide, either direct or through distributors. In the context of a large development project, our client is currently seeking:

Area Sales Manager Germany - Gas detection equipment - based in Germany (Home Office)

Your mission

• Sell gas detection solutions directly to customers in Germany
• Create strong relationships with our existing and potential new customers
• Implement products for rental and services (major focus)
• Develop sales and customer base across both software, Rental and traditional sales to meet sales forecasts and budgets
• Maintain high level of product and vendor knowledge
• Lead the complete sales process right from opportunity creation & offer submission to the participating negotiations & order closing.
• Perform customer relationships through attending trade shows
• Provide assistance to customers as and when needed
• Insure customer satisfaction

Your profile

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5+ years outside sales experience with well documented sales results
• 5+ years of residence in Germany
• Fluent in German and English
• Experience with Microsoft Windows – Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly ethical
• High degree of customer satisfaction
• Frequent travel required (>60%)

• If you in addition have experience in selling services or gas detection experience (sales, customer service, or technical support), we see this as an advantage
  
• Good language skills with French or any other European language is a plus.
