Description

Airbus Helicopters in Donauwoerth is looking for a Software Test Engineer SUZ (m/f) within the area System Support Center Tiger/NH90" for the department “SUZ Specification & Test”.

Your Tasks

• You will produce and edit test procedures based on the relevant software requirements and will perform functional tests of the operational avionics software for the Tiger or NH90 helicopters on the software test benches.

In this context, your tasks will include:

• Helping to handle user queries
• Where necessary, integrating modifications in existing tests, or creating new tests and qualifying new software releases
• To develop the required know-how, managing the transfer of existing and new tests from the development department or external suppliers to the System Support Centre (SUZ)
• To ensure the long-term maintainability of the tests, continuously identifying and implementing potential improvements to software, tools, and processes
• Compétences requises

Profil

• University degree in Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar
• Practical experience in Engineering
• Knowledge of the Tiger/NH90 avionics systems or other avionics systems
• Experience in software testing
• Experience with embedded systems
• Independent, goal-oriented and structured working methods
• A desire to continually improve processes, methods and tools
• Ability to consistently comply with guidelines and standards
• German and English: fluent/negotiation level
