Task & accountabilities
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Prepare bid, supporting Sales for the sales campaign
- Ensure win strategy and hot buttons are reflected in the bid Timely prepare and submit the complete proposal Support the Sales Manager to establish Price to Win and a value proposition
- Ensure alignment with customer expectations, while fulfilling internal and external regulations (legal, export control, ethics and compliance etc.)
- Ensure consistency of the bid with company profitability and cash objectives, keeping in mind market pricing levels and customer budgets
- Lead and manage the bid preparation from strategy meeting to final validation, before submission to customer by Sales
- Plan and lead the bid project and the bid team, including coordination of partners required Draw up a bid which comprises technical (e.g. Statement of Work) and/or commercial (e.g. price, risks, T&Cs) aspects
- Ensure compliance check and export applications which need to be processed in parallel to the bid preparation
- Prepare the required assumptions and constraints (e.g. pricing and associated cost drivers, as appropriate) for finance
- Ensure that the bid is validated by appropriate committees
- Support the Sales manager to present and discuss the bid as needed
Required skills
As the successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate the following competencies:
- You have minimum 2 or 3-year degree in Administration, Management Assistant or an equivalent domain and at least 5 years of experience in a similar position.
- Specific skills needed for the position are:
- Negotiation level in English and French
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook.
- GSuite knowledge would be a plus
- Knowledge about Airbus processes and organization
- Knowledge about Airbus administrative applications
- Ability to work with multi-national teams, good relationships and team working spirit
- Flexibility to adapt to fast changing and challenging situations
- Sense for figures, accuracy, and reliability
- Develop own initiative, and willingness to work in a team and to cope with workload peaks
