Tasks

In this role the successful applicant will be responsible for Spares Transport Management. This involves ensuring worldwide supply chain activities between international suppliers, stores, Airbus sites and customers in close cooperation with internal Airbus departments (for example planning, repair or the customer order desk) and external logistics providers.
You will also deal with Customer Support Management, in particular with a variety of customer queries related to transport management and Customer Service Monitoring. This refers to the steering and managing transport related activities for various logistics services offered to Airbus customers (e.g. Customised Spares Logistics (CSL)) in daily cooperation with internal and external interfaces. One of your tasks will be to improve the cost and performance of these services.

Moreover you will be in charge of the preparation of complex transport offers for air, road and sea freight to internal and external customers related to material planning and replenishment purposes, as well as the initial provisioning of airline customers.

Another of your main activities will be in the field of project management. You will participate in and manage cross-functional and transnational transport and supply chain logistics projects, such as supporting future spares service development with specific after-sales transport and supply components and the establishment and evolution of after-sales logistics requirements to existing and impending internal transport subcontractor(s).

Profile

This role requires a university degree in logistics, production engineering or an equivalent field and at least 5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in the logistics business. The successful applicant must have a solid experience in Project and Supplier Management as well knowledge of customs rules and regulations. Good knowledge of MS Office applications, MS Project and SAP R/3 is required. Knowledge of Finance and previous international work experience is an asset. You have a team-oriented way of working, good communication skills, the ability to motivate others and a customer oriented attitude as well as the ability to stay diplomatic. A negotiation level of English and basic skills in German and French complete your profile.
