SW-Engineer CI/CD for Automotive Embedded Systems (m/w/d), Hildesheim
Your tasks
- You will join an international team of engineers developing and maintaining our CI/CD system, which currently consists of Jenkins, Jira, Gitolite/GitLab/GitHub and Artifactory
- As CI/CD software engineer you will be responsible for setting up pipelines, improving (legacy) build tooling (embedded Linux, Android and QNX), and working on concepts for further automation
- The goal of the team you will join is to provide our distributed developers with a CI/CD system that gives meaningful feedback from automated testing and thereby enables them to continuously deliver high quality software
- We also maintain our CI/CD system as an asset which is delivered to our customers (Robert Bosch Car Multimedia GmbH and DENSO)
Your profile
- Software development is not only your job but also your passion
- Experience in the programming language Python (or similar languages)
- You think in object-oriented programming, modular design and UML
- Experience with (Meta-)Build-Tooling and Revision-Control-Systems and with SW build infrastructure such as OS, network and databases is preferred
- Some experience working with REST APIs is beneficial.
- You feel at home working in a Linux/Unix environment
- You prefer test driven development over other methods.
- Knowledge of functional safety aspects is beneficial
- Good to excellent degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a similar qualification
- Ability to cooperate with developers and suppliers in an international environment (Japan, India, Vietnam)
- Very good communication skills in English language
- Self-contained and target-oriented working-style
