Working Student (m/f/d) Software Development & Integration, Garching

The mission of the thermal systems business group is to develop and manufacture systems, modules and components to ensure thermal energy management of the power train and comfort for each passenger, during all phases of vehicle use. These systems help to significantly reduce fuel consumption, CO2 emissions and other pollutants and harmful particles from vehicles equipped with internal combustion engines. They also increase travel range and battery life for hybrid and electric vehicles. At the Front Office in Bietigheim-Bissingen we are supporting Sale- and Project activities and compose the interface between the customers Daimler and Valeo-internal departments at the development from Thermal Systems.

Mission

• Develop Software in C, C++.
• Design and development of software components using real-time operating systems.
• Analysis of dynamic behavior and multi-threading Systems.
• Development of low-level drivers for advanced sensors.
• Debugging and troubleshooting in the BSP.
• Design software State machine and application logic.
• Support Customer on CI/CD Pipeline.
• Troubleshoot OS and Integration issues.

Profile

• Enrolled students of automotive engineering, automation technology, electrical engineering or a similar field of study.
• Good programming skills in Python or C/C++.
• Initial experience in the field of ADAS is desirable (internship, working student, Formula Student).
• Ability to learn complex topics quickly.
• Reliability, initiative, flexibility and good communication skills.
• Good knowledge and understanding in German and English.
