Working Student (m/f/d) Development of a Controller for Energy Storage, Erlangen

Missions

We are working on R&D projects in the field of battery storage and inverters. It´s your task to program a microcontroller system to communicate with all the subsystems and components we want to be part of our electric ecosystem.

Your tasks are defined by diverse and interdisciplinary topics:

• Recording the requirements
• Selection of controller platform (e.g., Arduino or equivalent)
• Identification of the relevant control commands for the affected devices
• Programming a stable interface software

Profile

• You are currently studying Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or in a comparable technical field of study
• You bring a strong interest in hardware and / or software
• You score with your experience in the programming of microcontrollers
• You are familiar with CAN, Modbus, Profinet etc.
• Ideally, you have basic knowledge of data transfer to cloud-based backends
• You can communicate fluently in both German and English
• You have an independent and motivated way of working with the will to "make things work," then apply now
