Virtual Testing Manager (M/F), Toulouse

In the framework of the "Flight and Integration Test Centre" organization, within the "Aircraft ground integration" Department, you will join the "Simulator Operation & Support" team.

In the context of System integration testing at Aircraft level, with a first application for A350 development but within the global objective of preparing the future, you will be responsible of the operational coordination, optimization and mid-term improvement of the virtual testing activity.

Mission

This includes:

• Auditing the current situation (limitations: technical, process, organization ...),
• Defining the way forward to push the volume of tests to be transferred from A/C0 to Virtual Platform on short (A350) to medium term (NEO),
• Promoting & steering A350 virtual testing among the communities of testers and designers,
• Coordinating the different suppliers (mainly model providers) to achieve required maturity of the platform.

In this position, you will provide, in touch with the Test Architect team, feedbacks and requirements for the future Virtual platforms to be developed to support next major new developments.

Your main activities will be the following ones:

• Strategy and planning,
• Specify test means. Validate test means (in house and at vendors).
• Prepare test means,
• Endorse detailed specification, define the V&V, and monitor the integration of the test facilities (Ground test means)
• Functional verification, test facility operation
• Integrate, manage, monitor the testing activities, constraints, rules, policies, to manage them globally for all the test centre.

Profile

• You are young graduated with an engineering diploma ideally in aeronautics.
• You have good team spirit.
• You should have at least a negotiation level in English and in German.
