Our R&D Division is looking for you as a VIE Simulation Engineer (m/f/d) for our Validation department in Stadthagen, Germany.

Your role and responsibilities

Your main mission will be to support the tools & methods team in the development, implementation, and optimization of methodologies for fatigue simulation

• Responsible for new methodologies for fatigue simulation focused on dynamic durability test requested by german OEM
• Using the FEA (Finite Element Analysis) solver LS-Dyna, Pre and Post processing tool Hyperworks and fatigue analysis software nCode
• Following tests and analysing test results
• Defining virtual test setup to be as representative as possible to test conditions
• Defining adapted method to be able to predict failures in fatigue tests (steel parts, weldings…)

The mission will last 12 months.

Your Profile

• Bachelor or Master in Engineering (materials, mechanical or other)
• Knowledge on FEA simulation
• Basic knowledge on steel and plastic materials & fatigue
• At least bilingual (English required)
• Experience in MS Office is an advantage
• Team player with strong communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously and to take initiative
• International mind set
