The main missions

• Contribute to the identification of opportunities for cost reduction, validated with Commodity teams
• Support implementation of productivity actions (product / process) defined with Commodities
• Monitor productivity performance for his perimeter through cross-functional teamwork in the plants under his responsibility (i.e. productivity committees). Present to the plants management board the productivity plan, the progresses
• Challenge Commodities to achieve the Purchasing Budget for the plants he is in charge
• In case of escalation, for most critical topics, support the Supply Chain team to improve supplier deviation in Misdeliveries Per Million (MPM)
• Be involved in the kick off in program phase to prepare the start of Production. Lead transfers meetings with Program Buyers at the take-over
• Inform Commodity teams in case of major volumes changes
• Lead negotiation for ECR (Engineering Change Request) in his/her perimeter, and product productivity, under control / supervision of commodities

Profile

• Education : Engineering or commercial degrees, with a specialization in international purchasing/supply chain
• First experience in purchasing or production is a plus
• Languages : English is mandatory/German (B1 and above)
• Skills : productivity/lean management methodology, ability to work in a matrix organization, communication and presentation skills
• Knowledge in logistics, products, production technologies, in supplier auditing processes and in quality management are a plus.
