The main missions

• Collect the serial and programs needs.
• Define with the Global Technology Standards (GTS) teams and Customer Business Unit (CBU) the alternatives raw materials references
• Define with the Commodity team the targeted panel of suppliers
• Estimate the best offer that could be used by analyzing:
• Price & Alternative suppliers (recurring effects):
• Best sourcing areas (eg possibility of sourcing from different regions, x-rate impacts, inventories impacts,…)
• Localization of some materials (local compounders development, recyclers, regrinders,…)
• Combine serial & programs need to optimize the cost.
• Technical productivity (recurring effects)
• Develop the dilution process especially on mandated materials.
• Develop recycled materials consumptions
• Suggest low cost alternatives (technical productivity)
• Logistic optimization (recurring effects):
• Switch from Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) to Free Carrier (FCA)
• Negotiate locally possibilities of Platforms to reduce the inventories, leadtime and to improve the payment terms
• Packaging optimization (eg buy in bulk, returnable packaging)
• Explain and implement the Chemicals best practices (including the regrinds process
• Manage the raw material productivity ideas implementation with the plants teams (from trials to serial open orders)

The length of the VIE is 12 months.

Profile

• Masters degree in Engineering, a plus with a specialisation in international purchasing or supply chain
• Ability to work in matrix organization
• Communication and presentation skills
• Productivity / lean management methodology
• Fluent in English, German is a plus
