The main missions

• The Innovation Design Engineer contributes to the Innovation process and projects.
• He/she is involved from the early innovation phases by participating to brainstorming and ignition workshops until the phases of advanced concept maturity that require validated prototypes.
• Depending on his experience, he/she participates to the engineering design of an innovative product/function or he/she owns the responsibility for it.
• Within this perimeter, he/she brings the concept ideas into a CAD model (Catia), follows the build of prototypes and their testing and communicates with the adjacent functions like manufacturing, industrial design, marketing, simulation and project management.

Profile

• Master degree in engineering (mechanical or other)
• A natural interest and curiosity for different technical areas (esp. digitalization, electronics – Arduino/Raspberry is a plus)
• Fluent in English (German, French can be a plus)
• A positive and open mindset – a team player feeling at ease in an intercultural environment
