Mission
Build the Technology roadmap through internal and external benchmark, innovation drive and Strategic Plan fuelling
- Support the activities of the development of an Optical Coating for Faurecia Smart Surfaces;
- Build a global view about Product & Process Coating technology in the market in collaboration with other colleagues; benchmarking, marketing etc.
- Be aware of the key patents for the Optical Coatings Technology (Faurecia Technology portfolio, OEMs & competitors).
- Identify best solutions for FIS (Faurecia Interior Systems) roadmap in terms of Optical Coatings;
- Be capable to design experimental trials (DOE); drive them and take conclusions through them in coating processes;
Create and Maintain standards including lessons learned and capitalization
- Contribute to identify and develop Optical Coating Technology development and Breakthrough.
- Validate the robustness of technical solutions (product & process performance).
- Be capable to capitalize and share knowledge in Optical Coating for Smart Surfaces;
Specific Technical knowledge for the technology
- Materials knowledge and/or basics of coatings to allow a fluid communication with partners;
- Scientific knowledge of: fluid mechanics; thermodynamics; polymers chemistry;
- Problem solving tools knowledge (DOE);
The length of the VIE is 18 months.
Profile
- Master's degree in engineering (Chemicals or Materials);
- Standard PC software knowledge (MS Office, etc.) and comfortable with digital tools.
- English Language Fluid (French as preference)
- Availability to work in multicultural environments and availability to travel
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Willing to work in industrial and laboratory environments
- Technological curiosity and passion
- Scientific approach
