V.I.E. Integration and deployment support, Hamburg

The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) programme is an international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function.

We are looking for highly motivated graduates who are citizens of the European Union (all E.U. nationals, plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein). For graduates who would be interested in a career with Airbus, this could be the start of a rewarding future in a dynamic and forward-thinking sector.

Tasks

In the frame of the ARP (Airbus Resource Planning) Programme, harmonized processes and tool capabilities for Manufacturing Engineering will be deployed on the various sites for the A350 Programme. The objective is to deploy mandatory ARP capabilities and processes for securing the start of Industrialization of A350.

You will have to support the Site Change Management activities for Hamburg, Germany in cooperation with the Site Change Manager and the ARP Business Work Package Leader Manufacturing Engineering (ME).

Your main tasks will include:

  • Check if necessary actions are taken in accordance with the cutover plan for deployment
  • Actions and potential requirements are identified within end-to-end process tests and communicated to Business Work package Leader ME
  • Necessary data definitions as a pre-requisite to use process/tool are performed by the Business, e.g. MER Code, Techno Code, etc.
  • Support the coordination of change, deployment and implementation (Plan) in accordance with ARP Programme change recommendations and Site Change Manager
  • Support of A350 Key Users for ME: Acceptance Testing, Requirement Definition, etc.
  • Support communication and management of Organizational Change or Process Change

Skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills:

  • Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Economical Science, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Information Technology
  • English: Negotiation level
  • German: Advanced
  • Experience in Engineering, Information Systems, Manufacturing and Project Management desirable
  • Communication skills, high motivation and ability to motivate others, open mindset and a team playing attitude
  • Good knowledge of MS office, SAP (or other ERP) knowledge desirable but not mandatory
