V.I.E. HQ offset management, Munich

The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) programme is an international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to EADS to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function.

Tasks

For EADS Headquarters in Munich within the department Global Sourcing Network we are looking for a VIE - Offset Management (f/m).
Offset is a customer requirement by foreign governments when procuring defence/para public equipment at specified volumes abroad. Offset offers to the customer are an important factor in the sourcing selection process. EADS considers Offset as a very important sales tool to increase its export business base but on the other hand EADS takes the front end contract offset risks. Therefore, Offset has high management attention.
Under the leadership of the Vice President Offset Management, based in Munich, you will support subject areas like Offset Risk Management, Offset Supplier Management and EADS transversal activities. You will be made familiar with worldwide Offset Regulations where EADS is exposed to. Additionally, you will support the back-office.

Skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills:

• Bachelor / Master in Economics, Business Administration or Procurement
• Very good knowledge in Power-Point, Excel and Word
• Highly reactive, quick and autonomous
• At ease for both strategic and numerical reflexion
• Capacity to evolve in a highly sensitive and multicultural environment
• English: fluent / negotiation level
• German: advanced
• French is a plus
