For Airbus in Bremen within the department Process & Project Continuous Improvement we are looking for a VIE - Environment Project Engineer (f/m).
Tasks
The main objective will be to act as a Project Engineer in charge of supporting the Procurement Material & Supply Chain regarding Environmental Supplier Compliance (regulation) & Material supply base performance to manage environmental risk. Key Material suppliers located world-wide are involved in this Compliance project. The project will be achieved through:
- Environmental Airbus Supplier requirement AP1003 deployment with suppliers: Streamline the deployment of AP1003 & contracts in Material Procurement
- Management of environmental risk at supply chain level: Build a complete chemical record of our purchased materials in Material Procurement (Database by supplier/product/chemical).
In a transnational environment, the VIE will be able to develop his/her project management skills and participate to Continuous Improvement initiatives and actively use interpersonal and communication skills.
Your main activities will be (in a transnational environment):
- Streamline the contracts coverage: define implementation plans, launch actions, monitor progress, identify issues and correct deviations
- Define and set up a procurement database by supplier/product/chemical for the regular update of the substance analysis tool
- Build a complete chemical record of our purchased materials in Material Procurement to identify and manage the risks associated with the environment which are relevant for their area (REACh, Airbus Chromate Free project...) and any particular environmental issue.
- Assist the project leader in deploying some initiatives, communication pack, external audit awareness and documentation and project requirements towards all Material team members (Around 80 team members located in France/UK/Germany/Spain) and MFTs (Multi Functional Team lead by Procurement).
- Participate in internal meetings to assist Material Procurement on environmental requirements (REACh, Airbus Chromate Free project...).
- Support the maintenance of the ISO1400 certification as well as NatCo/sites/Centers of Excellence objectives and ensure the communication between Materials Procurement and Environmental team: attend meetings, reporting, give presentations
Skills
We are looking for candidates with the following skills:
- Graduate diploma/Master in Chemistry and/or Materials and/or Environment
- Fluent in English (minimum level is B2)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Being autonomous and a self-starter
- Good knowledge of project management
- Knowledge of Quality Management System, Quality methods and tools
- Knowledge of statistical methods & tools
- High level of IT office skills to be used for analysis, presentation and communication e.g. Microsoft Office tools
