Your tasks

• Independent management, coordination and acceptance of work packages in the insulating glass in an international R&D environment
• Development of new products and concepts from the prototype phase to the final industrialization
• Collaboration in innovative construction glass product fields within the department
• Implementation and coordination of technical assistance in European Saint-Gobain sites
• Techno-Watch and IP-Tracking
• Organisation of trials for different teams of technicians
• International business trips

Your profile

• University degree, preferably with focus on mechanical engineering, process engineering, polymer technology, material science (M.Sc./Eng.) or comparable studies
• Basic knowledge of extrusion technology is a plus
• Basic knowledge in the field of structural glazing is a plus as well
• Skillful handling of the MS-Office package
• Very good command of German and English, both spoken and written
• Flexibility, structured and solution-oriented way of thinking and working
• Passionate and motivated team player and good communication skills
• Willingness to travel (approx. 30%)
