V.I.E. Contract hydraulic systems procurement (m/f), Hamburg

For Airbus in Hamburg within the department Flight Control & Hydraulics we are looking for a VIE - Contract Hydraulic Systems Procurement (f/m).

In the scope of the responsibilities attributed to the Equipment and Systems Procurement Department of Airbus France, the job holder is responsible for the implementation of AIRBUS Procurement actions on a portfolio of systems for all the Airbus programmes. The job holder is a member of the Hydraulic Systems Commodity Team (located in Hamburg) within the Multi Function Team managing Flight Controls and Hydraulics.

Main Responsibilities

The job holder is in charge of all contractual and commercial terms in force with Equipment and Systems suppliers.

He / she supports and intervenes in the following phases of a programme:

• Supplier selection process
• System development
• Production of aircraft
• Support of aircraft in-service

He / she secures the interests of the Company by the negotiation and application of contract terms throughout the life cycles of the aircraft programmes.

He / she improves the Procurement performance, with the collaboration of the different functions involved (Programmes, Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain, Customer Support, Customer Affairs) in order to achieve the defined goals.

He / she implements actions dedicated to the Procurement Policy, for instance by preparing and proposing negotiation strategies or contributing to cost reduction projects by identifying, investigating and implementing various saving opportunities.

Skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills:

• Bachelor/Master within the field of business studies with main focus on procurement / marketing / sales
• First experience in project and process management as well as in procurement environment
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office applications
• English fluent is mandatory, German beginner
• Previous experience in working abroad appreciated
• Good communication skills
• A good team worker, able to manage a multitude of tasks within a complex environment
