Your tasks

• Advising the international Tier-1 and OEM Customers in the pre-development and serial phase for vehicle roof glazing
• Contact person for the technical and research department of the customers as well as for internal R&D decision-makers
• Support of global customers in all glass-based and modular questions
• Coordination and negotiation with contracting customers with regard to technical requirements
• Check and analysis of the technical documentation provided by the customer
• Elaboration of feasibility and risk analysis in consultation with the international glass roofing lines (Asia, EU, NAFTA)
• Definition of standard production routes, technical standards and operating resources, as well as the possible development and production costs in consultation with the competent site manager
• Preparation and holding of technical presentation offers with customers
• Development and standardized process sequences within the advanced engineering unit

Your profile

• University degree in the area of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics or similar (M.Sc./Eng., Dipl.-Ing.)
• Experience preferably in the automotive industry and/or automotive supply industry desirable
• Versed handling of the MS-Office package
• Passionate and motivated team player and good communication skills
• Very good command of English and very good communication skills in an international environment
• Independent and well-structured way of work
• Willingness to travel (approx. 20%, worldwide)
