Your role
- Your role is to ensure the Worldwide Transport plan is applied while respecting regulatory needs (dangerous products, etc.), product requirements and customer requests. You will lead and/or support local / global initiatives.
- You will interact with service providers (3PL and carriers) and with internal customers (Customer Service, Supply Chain) for any questions relating to new activities and/or continuous improvement.
- You ensure that the Transport partners achieve the agreed objectives by relying on existing indicators and by feeding the Transport dashboards
- You demonstrate agility and flexibility to respond as quickly as possible to various requests (political context, strikes, Covid-19, etc.)
- You lead and/or support local/global initiatives, including initiatives aimed at reducing CO2 emissions, contributing to freight tenders and transport mode changes. You will have an impact on the distribution strategy, freight costs and performance rate.
- You analyze transport data, identify and work on areas for improvement using project management tools
- You assess the impact of the change (risk analysis, documentation of impacts, identification of tasks and follow-up) and set up procedures to document the process.
- You support any new activity integration
- You promote the culture of safety and the environmental policy
Your profile
- Baccalaureat +3/+5, with 3-4 years of professional experience in the areas of customer service, logistics, distribution, transport and project management
- You are organized, multitasking, open-minded, you have a real customer satisfaction orientation and you are flexible in a constantly changing environment
- You have excellent oral and written communication, you take care of your professional relationships, and appreciate teamwork
- You are experienced in International Transport: road / air / sea / train
- You are certified Blue or Green Belt
- You are comfortable with IT tools: Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, etc.), ERP (Oracle/SAP) and you have significant experience in data analysis
- Fluent in English, German is a plus
