Our client is important actor of the fine chemical sector and is looking for a

Technical Sales Manager w/m - Home Office (Köln-Düsseldorf)

who will manage the sale of products and services in the allocated area (North-Western Germany). The technical sales manager will therefore, be responsible for the direct development of the market in the area by visiting clients directly and establishing a dedicated distribution network.

Mission

• The development of sales volume by visiting clients directly (both existing and potential clients)
• The development of ad-hoc selling strategies by analysing the market in order to broaden the client base and increase business revenues
• Providing technical support to customers
• Drafting effective sales reports of the business activity conducted so as to produce forecasts of short and long term business potential, as well as to keep track of both established and achieved objectives

Profile

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or related Chemistry degree
• At least 7-10 years of sales experience in the following industrial applications: health and personal care, household and industrial detergents, plastics, catalyst and polymerisation additives, industrial coating, paper and textiles industry
• Willingness to travel four days a week
• Applicants must be adept at building relationships and enjoy service-oriented work
