Missions

Your main mission will be:

  • Play a leading role in the multifunctional / multidivisional teams all along the tendering, contracting and contract life cycle phases
  • Proactively contribute to a robust End-to-End (machin, material, process) Additive manufacturing procurement strategy and strategic roadmap towards lower Total Cost of Ownership, shorter leadtime and optimise weight
  • Proactively contribute to reinforce Airbus Additive Manufacturing procurement Policy
  • Proactive contribute to Airbus Additive Manufacturing procurement governance across the group
  • Prepare and present recommandation for decision during sterring commitees involving top management

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Manage the market screening, market mapping, market intelligence for those additive manufacturing products/packages/suppliers
  • Manage the sourcing and tendering activities
  • Negotiate procurement frame contracts and cooperation agreements to achieve the best conditions for Airbus and its supply chain including intellectual properties
  • Monitor the contract execution from research to serial delivery
  • Manage the day to day relationships with suppliers and with the extended supply chain
  • This role will involve some travels, approximately once every 2 months in Europe and one or two times a year outside Europe for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Profile

  • Experience in procurement or leading a Multi-Functional Team
  • Engineering background
  • Experience in Additive Manufacturing business is a plus
  • Interest in business development and innovation business
  • Contract negotiation skills
  • Team spirit, Adaptability, Good communication skills
  • Assertiveness & ability to influence and convince others
  • Ability to communicate at top management level
  • Experience and interest in working within an international environment
  • Ability to analyse and structure
  • English: Negotiation level
  • French and/or German would be a plus
