Tasks

  • Primary responsible banker and key-accountant for the relationship with all clients/prospects allocated to him/her by the Co-Head of GC&S Germany
  • Identify the most promising Growth Companies, Next Hidden Champions, Scale-up/Unicorns and the most interesting related strategic situations
  • Establish a close and valuable strategic dialog with the client
  • Acting as a strategic partner for the client, thus ensuring the opportunity to secure high value mandates as well as increase flow business
  • Coordinate and manage Business Lines interactions with clients as a Deal Team Leader: acts as gate keeper to ensure proper level of client solicitations by Business Lines
  • Develop and implement an overall client and portfolio strategy to achieve an optimal return/risk result for the bank
  • Develop an active network in the Tech scene/Gründerszene
  • Transversal responsibilities for the development of the NextGen Tech vertical in Germany
  • Ensuring the active monitoring and reporting of corporate risks on portfolios
  • Ensuring consistent and comprehensive enforcement of BNP Paribas Compliance rules applicable to the position

Profile

  • Studies of economics or comparable academic education (alternatively apprenticeship with adequate secondary education)
  • Client and product expertise (corporate banking) of min 5 years
  • Knowledge of the Growth and Tech client universe
  • Professional experience in an international set-up helpful
  • Result driven and client focused working style
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Fluent German and English language skills (C1 Level required)
