Missions
- Provide business-oriented legal advice to all levels of management and staff.
- Monitor, research and address legal issues within the company / branch.
- Draft and review contracts, agreements and corporate documents (e.g. rules of procedure), corporate resolutions and accompanying legal documentation) including incl. the assumption of corporate secretarial tasks if and where required.
- Ensure implementation of internal policies.
- Raise awareness of, and develop risk mitigation measures.
- Collaborate with the global Allianz Technology Legal community in developing and enhancing practices and procedures.
- Collaborate in cross-functional teams as required and in line with evolving business needs and the regulatory environment.
- Conduct trainings.
- Closely follow legislative processes both on a national and international level and help to identify necessary steps for their implementation at Allianz Technology SAS.
- Oversee and steer external legal counsel, where applicable.
Profile
- Strong academic background and admitted to practise law in France (preferably also in the Netherlands).
- 5+ years’ experience working as an in-house attorney in an international company or as an attorney in an international law firm with a focus on commercial law; knowledge of IT law and the associated supervisory law in insurance companies is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of the business environment and are eager to work in an international environment.
- Ability to work well in a team and have excellent communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, well-organized, and keen to attention to details.
- Strong negotiation skills and follow an analytical approach.
- Ability to work independently and be a trustful advisor to the local management.
- Basic knowledge of AI technology, principles, and their practical use
