Quality Trainee/Apprentice, Munich

The mission of the thermal systems business group is to develop and manufacture systems, modules and components to ensure thermal energy management of the power train and comfort for each passenger, during all phases of vehicle use. These systems help to significantly reduce fuel consumption, CO2 emissions and other pollutants and harmful particles from vehicles equipped with internal combustion engines. They also increase travel range and battery life for hybrid and electric vehicles. At the Front Office in Bietigheim-Bissingen we are supporting Sale- and Project activities and compose the interface between the customers Daimler and Valeo-internal departments at the development from Thermal Systems.

Tasks

• You will coordinate weekly and monthly reporting
• You will assist the customer quality champion in the realisation of objectives, especially customer response performance
• You will provide data analysis and reports for the customer quality champion
• You will coordinate and support transversal tasks (reporting standardisation, new procedure creation, training plans, customer knowledge)
• You will improve efficiency of activity by analysing lean reporting methods
• You will further develop and maintain databases, dashboards and big query to monitor large amount of data and identify patterns
• You will suggest solutions based on data analysis to overcome problems and support quality team members
• You will maintain and update of quality-related documents, feeding and updating customer information from b2b tools within Valeo systems
• You will build and strengthen customer relationships
• You will prepare and support negotiations with the customer

Profile

• You are graduated from a Master degree in Engineering, Quality or Data Analysis
• You already have experience in quality
• You have a fluent level of English. German or other languages are a plus.
• You have programming skills (Python, VBA for Excel, Google script) and are confident with Microsoft Office and Google tools (Spreadsheets, Slides, Lookerstudio, …)
• You have good communication and analytical skills, have an international mindset and are open-minded to new cultures and new ways of working and thinking
• You are humble, listening, positive attitude oriented, professional, and have the sense of diplomacy
