Missions

• In cooperation with the specialist departments, you will be responsible for material procurement for projects in the inverter product line (including mechanical and electrical components)
• You involve suppliers in the given project at an early stage and ensure on-time availability, e.g. of prototype parts, during the development phase
• You control costs and target achievement of procurement activities (e.g. material costs, tool costs compared to defined target costs)
• You control and develop your suppliers, refine scorecards and you are responsible for executive reporting
• You are responsible for all project procurement activities from the acquisition phase of the project until 6 months after SOP

Profile

• You have a degree in purchasing or mechanical/electrical engineering or industrial engineering
• You have at least 4 years of professional experience as a project buyer in the automotive industry, preferably in the powertrain sector
• You have excellent negotiation skills, assertiveness and very good communication skills
• Ideally, you have a good background in electronics and have already conducted negotiations in this area
• You are also fluent in English and have experience in an international working environment
