Praktikum Engineering Support at FAL for Aircraft Systems - Toulouse, Hamburg

The Systems MAP (Mise au Point) department is responsible for the engineering support for Aircraft Systems to all Airbus Programmes within the Final Assembly Line (FAL) and the Flight Test (FT) Facilities. The MAP Systems Specialists are working close to the aircraft to solve issues discovered during Ground-/Flight-Test and during the delivery phase of the aircraft.

The main activities of the Systems MAP department are in Toulouse, FRANCE, (A380 FAL and FT and A400M FT). We have also teams in Hamburg, GERMANY (A380 FAL) and Sevilla, SPAIN (A400M FAL and FT).

Tasks

• The Intern will be part of the Systems MAP Operations Group and will work close together with the MAP Systems Specialists and the Systems MAP team leaders.
• Your main tasks will be to assist transnational project teams on various improvement projects related to Systems MAP.
• The intern will as well be involved in the preparation of the A350 MAP and will get an insight look on various areas of Airbus (e.g. Design Office, Flight Test, Production, Logistics).

• You should also have a basic knowledge about aircraft systems and the aircraft development process.
