Main Missions

• technical support of the sales department in the submission of offers to customers with regard to packaging costs
• planning and development of packaging concepts, taking into account technical, logistical and economic aspects
• inclusion and determination of packaging requirements for the entire supply chain
• coordination/management of container development as well as planning and calculation of container requirements
• coordination/management of container validation with SAS plants and component manufacturers until the release of container prototypes
• Technical support of the SAS Purchasing in the procurement of containers
• support of SAS plants in the preparation of "packaging agreements" as well as "packing instructions"
• creation of standards and tools as well as support of all SAS plants in all questions regarding "packaging"
• contact person for all packaging topics of the SAS

Profile

• Completed studies in the study programmes Packaging Technology or Logistics or comparable training/qualification
• Professional experience in packaging planning and development, preferably in the automotive supply industry
• Good CAD knowledge (e.g. AutoCAD, CATIA) ▪ business knowledge
• Safe in dealing with MS Office applications
• Ideally knowledge of SAP
• Very good German and English skills in word and writing
• self-employed, structurally and analytically pronounced working methods
• self-initiative, flexibility and commitment to travel
