The mission of the thermal systems business group is to develop and manufacture systems, modules and components to ensure thermal energy management of the power train and comfort for each passenger, during all phases of vehicle use. These systems help to significantly reduce fuel consumption, CO2 emissions and other pollutants and harmful particles from vehicles equipped with internal combustion engines. They also increase travel range and battery life for hybrid and electric vehicles. At the Front Office in Bietigheim-Bissingen we are supporting Sale- and Project activities and compose the interface between the customers Daimler and Valeo-internal departments at the development from Thermal Systems.
Missions
- First point of contact for the customer
- Acquisition of new projects in the customer segment you support
- Processing offers and inquiries
- Preparing price agreements and conducting price negotiations
- Preparation of cost analysis and budget planning
- Close cooperation within the projects with other areas, such as project management, development and finance
- Carrying out market analyses and deriving corresponding trends and market strategies
- Preparation and implementation of product presentations for customers
- Organization and implementation of concept workshops at the customer's premises
Profile
- Completed engineering/economics or business studies or comparable training
- Several years of experience in marketing products requiring explanation, ideally in the automotive supplier industry
- Negotiating skills and a confident manner
- Analytical thinking, determination, willingness to travel
- Very good knowledge of English, good knowledge of German is desirable
