Major Tasks

• Support the Safety Data Repository (SDR) project by collecting, formatting, storing all relevant data according to the project team needs.
• Define & Execute appropriate meta data, data & information management aswell as knowledge generation principles in order to ensure high-quality data for e.g. the set-up of data workflows, support data visualization and interpretation.
• Collaborate with subject-matter experts to further refine data handling, visualization and management
• Design and run data and knowledge management projects together with R&D, CLS and IT departments to improve the SDR platform
• Visualization /interpretation of high throughput transcriptomic and High Content Imaging datasets and determination of finger prints associated with certain compound classes (20% of the time)

Skills requirements

• Master or PhD in bioinformatics and/or in natural sciences with focus in application of computational biology and its application to answer biological/toxicological questions within life science R&D
• Very good ability to work in interdisciplinary teams with excellent interpersonnel and communication skills
• Solid experience with project management
• Fluent written and oral communication skills in English, ability to speak French would be a plus
• Knowledge in Toxicology would be an advantage
