IT Security Expert for IT Operations (m/f), Munich

Tasks

The IT Security Expert will be an information security engineer in charge of:

• The design, build and running of the information security monitoring solution in Astrium GmbH, providing detection and deleting capabilities regarding information security threats
• The design, build and running of the information security vulnerabilities assessment solution in Astrium GmbH, detecting and assessing technical and organisational vulnerabilities and proposing the associated remediation plan
• The design, build and running of the information security reporting solution in Astrium GmbH, providing generic or specific information security reports and communication support regarding security operational activities
• Conducting forensic actions after occurrence of a security incident to assist in qualifying the incident, identifying how it happened, determining the security incident impact and proposing a remediation plan or security improvement measures

The jobholder will be a member of the team. The department is responsible for the complete IM security for IT systems, networks within Astrium GmbH, and supports all ICT projects and programs in terms of security within the organisation. He/she will report hierarchically to the Astrium GmbH National Information Security Officer (Astrium NIMSO Germany) and functionally to the Security Competence Centre.

Profile

We are looking for candidates with the following skills:

• Degree in information technology or comparable qualification
• Solid work experienc in IT security area
• High knowledge in IT networks, infrastructures, security technologies, processes & methods
• Knowledge of governmental laws and regulations applicable in Germany and Europe preferable
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Able to work in a transnational environment
• Team-oriented mindset
• English and German: negotiation level, French is an advantage
