Missions

• Manage IT innovation as a global program within the AP IT department.
• Manage the IT delivery of all innovation & RPT projects, with the support of your globally based project manager(s) and developers.
• Drive the IT innovation strategy with the Business and Operations owners and help assess new ideas or product proposals especially in terms of their technical feasibility, and target architecture.
• Create and animate appropriate IT Innovation communication channels within the Operations & IT global community to detect, share and scale-out local OPS-related Innovation ideas.
• Anticipate and plan the capacity of the IT Innovation & RPT teams to support the business pipeline of initiatives.
• Manage and deliver assessments of vendor solutions which could be used in the context of the IT Innovation initiatives.
• Manage, oversee and approve the IT delivery quotes and delivery plans which come from any internal or external IT service providers.
• Create and maintain within the IT Innovation team the functional and IT expertise of key innovative technologies and how these technologies can serve the Business (Market Management, Sales) as well as Operations (internal end-to-end process optimization) of AP
• Envision, advise and create the design of solutions (from both a business and technical point of view) which match the needs of the business. Identify technologies, architectures and/or products which technically deliver the solution.
• Ensure solution scopes are closely controlled and managed to ensure delivery can be attained incrementally and under tight timeframes and/or budget constraints.
• Closely support (inc. hands on-work) the technical design, planning and development cycles of each of the innovation project.

Profile

• 10+ years in IT delivery management while working with globally located business stakeholders.
• At least 5 year experience in both line management, and IT project delivery management of globally distributed technology teams (developers & PMs etc.)
• A solid blend of both business and IT solution design experience with proven (hands-on) experience in delivering end-to-end solutions.
• Significant experience in managing technical teams which develop prototypes or proof of concepts and which leverage new or emerging technologies (e.g. ML etc.)
• Significant experience in working with internal and external IT vendors, ideally with a track record of doing so across different regions or at a global scale.
• Background in new technologies, IT strategy, design, and architecture.
• Good communication skills and proven capability to align influence and leverage globally distributed stakeholders and delivery teams.
• Excellent SDLC experience (esp. in Agile & Iterative methodologies).
• Capable of working in a fast paced, multi-location, multi-culture environment.
