Missions

Within the Digital Thread Competence Cluster of the Flight Physics Capability Domain, the Technical Skill Leader role for Flight Physics Data Production & Management aims at:

  • Taking the leadership of technical skills in the fields of Configuration and Lifecycle Management, Secure Long-Term Storage, Centralized Access, End2End Traceability of Flight Physics Simulation Data involved at the different Aircraft Program phases.
  • Defining the technical solutions in your field of expertise to satisfy customer requests with respect to state of the art practices, airworthiness rules, flight safety and sensible product liability activities.

Support capabilities development and supervise deliverables accordingly.

  • Performing continuous techno-watch, and disseminate knowledge about products and methods in your field of expertise inside the domains of Flight Physics Center of Competence.

Elaborating the means for skill development according to short, mid and long-term project needs, priorities and risks management.

  • Influencing the orientations of Flight Physics Data Production & Management activities in the Flight Physics Domain at the different stages of the product development.

Contributing to the Digital Thread Competence Cluster proposed strategy for process evolution, competencies development, Research&Technology and Methods&Tools plans development.

This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.

Profile

  • Engineering degree specialised in Information Systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of PLM/PDM solutions and platforms (Windchill, 3DX).
  • Advanced knowledge of Databases: SQL (ORACLE), NoSQL (MongDB), Graph (Neo4J).
  • Project Management: AGILE software development methodology, willingness to develop prototypes under agile/sprint environment.
  • Good software development skills in at least one language (Java, C++, Python).
  • Knowledge of Windows/Linux OS.
  • Knowledge of tools development environment (eclipse IDE) would be a plus.
  • Knowledge of continuous integration tools (Git, Tuleap, Jenkins, Artifactory) would be a plus.
  • Knowledge of Cloud solutions and platforms (REST, AWS) and Big Data (Palantir Foundry) solutions and platforms would be a plus.
  • Negotiation level in English, intermediate level in French would be a plus.
