The main missions

Processing and improvement of a database with test results (bending fatigue test)
Working with and improvement of a Database of test results (bending fatigue tests) and corresponding simulations that includes a tool for predictions of test results for parts which are only simulated:

• Access results of tests
• Grouping of tests regarding characteristic of the parts
• Include new test and simulation results into the database
• if applicable: writing of test reports
• if applicable: performance of bending fatigue simulations with Nastran

Preparing of several tests on complete exhaust systems and its components

• Evaluation of results and reporting
• Implementation of several simulations with Nastran and Abaqus

Profile

• Studies in mechanical engineering or comparable fields of study
• First practical experience with technical mechanics and strength of materials
• Experience with FE simulations is an advantage
• Experience with test benches is an advantage (shaker tests, engine test benches, roller dyno)
• Language skills English and German
• Good knowledge in MS Office (especially MS Excel)
