Your role
- You will administer various human resource plans and procedures for all regional staff and participate in ensuring performance evaluation program deadlines are met
- You partner with internal Siemens partners on the topic of benefits administration
- Further, you manage recruitment process-internal Siemens partners and external vendors for all exempt and non-exempt personnel, students and temporary employees
- You serve as point-of-contact for candidates and new hires via on-boarding process (partnering with group administrators and onboarding services)
- You handle employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and exit processes and participate in administrative staff meetings and attend other meetings as required
- In addition, you assist in org chart changes, as required as well as in evaluation of reports, decisions and results of department in relation to the established goals
- You maintain human resource information system records, compile reports and ensure compliance with jurisdictional employment and benefits laws and regulations
- You cooperate directly with Siemens global site HR partners, as necessary and assist in program rollouts and participate in the building process to ensure regional employee considerations are met
Your qualifications
- We look forward to meeting you if you hold a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related and bring more than 5 years’ experience of HR generalist responsibilities, preferably from a Siemens background
- You have a deep understanding of labor law and employment equity regulations
- Further, you bring efficient HR administration and people engagement skills as well as excellent record keeping skills and fantastic knowledge of HR functions and best practices
- You bring strong proficiency in Excel and superb computer literacy with capability in email, MS Office and related HR software
- To find your way in your international environment you bring business-fluent English and German language skills along with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- You work comfortably under pressure and have and remarkable organizational skills to meet tight deadlines as well as conflict management skills and problem-solving skills to make strong decisions
