Our client develops, manufactures, and services fixed and portable gas detection equipment.
They are active worldwide, either direct or through distributors. In the context of a large development project, our client is currently seeking:
Regional Sales Manager - Gas detection equipment for the Western and Northern Europe - based in Germany (Home Office)
Your mission
- Sell gas detection solutions through distribution channels in Western and Northern Europe
- Build a strong distributor network to maximize sales & profits.
- Drive business growth by discovering new businesses through effective management of reseller/distributor.
- Provide education of product through technical presentations, seminars and workshops with the support of EMEA Quality Manager.
- Lead promotions and execute marketing activities to achieve or exceed sales revenue targets
- Manage, maintain, and provide reports and opportunity status using our customer relationship management system.
- Act as the voice of reason and influence when presenting products/services to existing or prospective distributors
- Coordinate sales opportunities with Sales Accounts Manager and Customer Department team and evolve them into projects
Your profile
- Bachelor of Science degree in Petrochemicals/Mining/Electrical/Electronic engineering or equivalent.
- Commercial expertise and experience in selling technical products through Distributor channels of minimum 5-10 years in Europe
- Flexible and willing to adapt to new challenges
- Independent, pro-active and self-organized, excellent sales and technical skills, autonomous for technical demonstrations
- Fluent in English and German
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experienced in delivering seminars and doing public presentations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Willingness to travel > 60% of the time

- If you in addition have experience in selling services or gas detection experience (sales, customer service, or technical support), we see this as an advantage
- Good language skills with French or any other European language is a plus.
