Tasks

  • Handle and model large datasets, solving complex problems and answering critical business questions through detailed data analysis.
  • Support regulatory reporting and compliance activities, including direct interaction and communication with regulators regarding data-related matters.
  • Extract, integrate, and manipulate data to build robust data pipelines, automate reporting processes, and enable self-service analytics.
  • Design and manage scalable solutions for key metrics, reports, and dashboards that drive business success.
  • Conduct data profiling on new and existing data sources to assess quality, completeness, and consistency.
  • Monitor Critical Data Elements (CDEs) through automated processes, setting thresholds and alerts to proactively detect and resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with Lines of Business (LoBs), Business Units (BUs), and IT to define data ownership, accountability, and data quality standards.
  • Utilize Informatica and Databricks to manage, cleanse, and transform data efficiently.
  • Develop insightful data visualizations to communicate findings and deliver actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Identify and address root causes of data quality issues and implement long-term corrective actions.

Profile

  • 5–10 years of professional experience in data management, analytics, or data quality roles, ideally within a regulated industry.
  • Proven experience interacting with regulators, including communication, documentation, and follow-up on data-related inquiries or audits.
  • Hands-on experience with Informatica and Databricks, particularly in implementing and monitoring data quality processes.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, data management frameworks, and data quality best practices.
  • Multi-year experience collaborating with IT and business stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Agile / Scrum, OPEX, Six Sigma, and/or PMP methodologies.
  • Demonstrated success in supporting transformation or change management programs.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in financial services or another highly regulated environment is preferred.
