  • Supporting definition of our Compliance Strategy and leading the development of appropriate contractual documents for service and product provision to cover scope and diversity of worldwide services;
  • Properly documenting contractual obligations so they are auditable (Airbus service provision only begins after the establishment of service agreement and/or sublicensing agreement);
  • Ensuring editor and service provider contracts are in line with the service catalogues in cooperation with Procurement, Security and Legal (e.g.: right to have licenses and services used by Worldwide Enterprise granted by editor subject to Security rule);
  • Continually enhancing the service catalogue for worldwide services in line with changing Airbus business objectives, and contributing to the definition of funding mechanism and rules for service (including licenses) pricing and cost recovery in co-operation with FCI;
  • Applying License management process for ICT (including Worldwide Enterprise), incorporating demand forecasting and optimizing the use through a monitoring solution;
  • Driving EADS Licensing Strategies and Policies in close cooperation with Procurement, in order to maximise effective use and benefit of Group purchases;
  • Establishing process in cooperation with Procurement, STAMP and Legal to challenge and report actual License usage against contractually allowable usage at quality levels sufficient to mitigate risk of License breach resulting from third-party audit.
  • You will define and manage processes required to conduct compliance audits requested by third parties.
  • A Software Asset Management tool is required to manage the portfolio of software used by Airbus and its Extended Enterprise. You will be responsible for implementing a tool and operating it on a daily basis to ensure the data required for licence optimisation and software audits is readily available;

Merger & Acquisitions:

In line with the EADS 2020 vision, you will be required to support M&A activities. You will participate in coordinating licence and contractual solutions to ensure that licence provision is optimised in line with the organisational changes;

Software Audit:

Airbus is required to perform both internal and external software audits to demonstrate that the use of software is compliant with vendor and editor contracts;

Ad hoc activities:

IWC receive contractual and licence ad-hoc requests from all areas of the business. These are typically in the form of licence usage rights questions for the Extended Enterprise.
