ABOUT THIS ROLE
You, as the Content Operations Coordinator – French (m/f/x), will work as part of a team that accurately creates, enters, edits, and maintains product information elements (metadata) for all Audible products. You will support the onboarding and maintenance of French spoken word audio content focus. In this position, your focus will be on the synchronization of numerous elements that need to come together in order to publish new content in an efficient and timely fashion, and ensure the completeness, accuracy, and suitability of all product assets, which includes utilizing a variety of tools to quickly and thoroughly research various ad-hoc requests. Based in Berlin, this role initially opens through a 15-month contract.

As a Content Coordinator FR (m/f/d), you will...
- Manage Traffic of Incoming Products: Support the processing queue by gathering all assets needed to publish a product from providers; by using various data elements to efficiently prioritize products in the workflow; by tracking titles throughout the workflow to ensure timely publication.
- Manage Provider Asset Delivery: Communicate and synchronize as the primary contact for French and European providers regarding issues, quality standards and completeness of assets for incoming content and product requests.
- Be responsible for Interdepartmental Content Liaison: Harmonize day-to-day product business needs from various internal and external teams, keep stakeholders informed regarding key issues, anticipate and troubleshoot conflicts.
- Be responsible for Product Metadata Indexing and Copy Editing: enter, proofread and fact-check all product metadata prior to publishing a product to the customer-facing application. Key elements such as a product's price, on-sale date, territory rights, availability, provider, royalty earner, descriptive copy, and taxonomy are top priority areas of review.
- Handle Catalog Updates and Issue Management: Assess validity of and initiate product update requests received from providers and customers, and ensure that requests are answered appropriately and in due time.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- BA/BS or equivalent degree.
- Excellent command of the written and spoken French language, fluency in English.
- Previous professional experience in web-based publishing environment, covering areas such as content coordination, content risk management, data-entry and fact-checking.
- Previous experience with ticketing systems and process documentation (e.g. in a wiki).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Technical proficiency in Windows operating environment, fluency in Outlook and MS Word.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience using features such as pivot tables and vlookup.
- Demonstrated multi-tasking and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
- A self-starter with impeccable organizational and analytical skills.
- A confident and upbeat communicator via written and verbal business communication skills.
- Able to thrive in a high-energy, entrepreneurial environment.
- An avid consumer of online media, including books (audio and print), blogs, podcasts, and other digital content.
- Familiarity with standard XML metadata exchange formats like ONIX or RSS.
- Additional language skills in other European languages are a plus.
