Tasks
- convince major battery suppliers to develop the right technologies for our needs
- assess the robustness solutions proposed by our suppliers as an expert
- assess the supplier production capability
- develop the academic network in order to select the future promising technologies
- ensure the battery validation strategy within Airbus, by the laboratory for emerging technologies and by the suppliers for the selected products
- ensure the performances taking into account all aeronautic constraints such as environmental, aircraft cycle, maintenance and airline operations
- The successful candidate will work closely with aeronautic specialists in charge the system developments.
Required skills
- Educated to master degree level (or equivalent) in chemistry or a related discipline.
- About 10 years of experience in energy storage technologies, with technical experiences in battery cell development and battery integration.
- Experiences in battery cell design with a battery supplier or with automotive manufacturer or equivalent.
- Good communication skills
- Good synthetical skills
- Ability to be part of a team
- Rigorous
- An advanced level of English
- French and/or German would be a plus
