Apline Race Coordinator (m/f/d), Mondsee
Missions
- Establish effective collaboration with Brand Partners, race teams and athletes to offer BOA support and service excellence
- Work with developers and race boot fitters to implement performance fit configurations meeting all the BOA requirements
- Provide detailed consultation on design guidelines to optimize fit, performance and durability
- Provide instructions and recommendations to install BOA products, maintaining detailed written documentation and efficient communication flow
- Review all applications and product samples to ensure BOA functionality, performance and durability requirements are met
- Build prototypes using various methods, processes, materials, and machinery typically needed for hard goods prototyping and ideally also for footwear prototyping
- Demonstrate a consistent, elevated level of prototype quality, aesthetics and proficiency
- Maintain continuous alignment with the PPID Lead – Snow Sport and the in-line team on internal initiatives and the overall company strategy
- Become an expert in the BOA product offering across the Industries and in particular Alpine, understanding product specs, installation requirements, material properties, ideal use and limitations
- Work on additional tasks assigned to support internal initiatives and/or in-line projects development
Profile
- 3+ years experience in product development – sports gear or footwear preferred
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude to quickly learn BOA’s products and components
- Experience working on projects where limited standardization exists and variables change
- Ability to work on tight timelines when necessary
- Excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail with a discerning eye for quality and accuracy
- Desire to use your creativity to advance innovation and solve problems
- Ability to use organized project management approach to work on fast pace deliverables, meetings scheduling and travels planning
- Ability to collaborate and build relationships with diverse groups of people across the globe
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally, up to 20% on average and up to 50% during winter season
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point.
- Very good German & English language skills
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Ideally experience in Alpine boot fitting or race service
- Ability to use graphic design software, preferably in the Adobe suite
- Knowledge of SolidWorks
- Italian or French language skills would be a plus
