The main missions

• Acquisition duties
• Participate to RFQ analysis
• Assemble BOPs (Bill of Purchases) and to splitting/planning work
• Create and launch RFQ, get price quotations, perform analyses
• Consolidate and create cost models
• Program duties
• Track performance during the program phase: manage suppliers, compare costs with objectives, ensure quality during the program phase, respect delivery deadlines and in particular ensure that the program phase reviews are supported within the framework of the Faurecia Program Management System (PMS)
• Negotiate Engineering Change Requests
• Lead the sourcing committee meetings for the program and ensure that the purchasing assumptions are optimized, considering local and global sourcing options and selecting the option with the best landed cost and performance
• Innovation/Predevelopment programs duties
• Participate in program technical meetings and share needs for supplier searches with the rest of the team
• Participate in supplier meetings / visits when relevant
• Prepare panel for prototyping purposes, organize prototype supply
• Interact with all involved actors to solve issues, communicate with Program Management and Engineering timely about issues encountered and possible solutions.

Profile

• Master's degree in Engineering or Business
• Incremental degree specialized in Strategic Purchasing Management and International Business
• English fluent, German speaking to fit in location
• Results oriented, Negotiation and interpersonal skills, international mindset
• Understanding of product design and development steps
• Understanding of business practices, market dynamics, Legal aspects
• Strong analytical capabilities
• Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment
