Missions

• Plays an active role within the Central Accounting Team in the production and overseeing of all accounting aspects of the EH World Program (EHWP) policies of his/her allocated portfolio of EHBUs '- Set up local best practices and handle WA model complexity and Group projects evolutions
• Harmonize process and practices for Accounting/reporting among the Bus on WP matters
• Support TOM transformation processes and current Business Transformation project
• Act as a key player in World Agency and Accounting Team future changes (role, size, succession...) '- To control the quality of the information registered into SAP in order to ensure reporting consistency
• To perform general accounting and fiscal duties and other ad-hoc assignments
• To prepare journal entries required to perform monthly and year-end closings
• To support, coordinate and interface with EHBUs’ financial controllers in the management of EHWP accounting.
• To work closely with them in particular during the month-end closing to produce accounts in the agreed timetable
• To monitor the Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable, inter BUs commissions and intercompany reconciliation
• To manage brokerage module (CMS)
• To produce adhoc reporting for EHBUs and account managers
• To participate to the development of new tools and group projects and methodology (processes and information systems improvements) and to the administration the EHWP platform (CoA, documentation, procedures, defects handling, tests, etc)
• Strong communication skills to drive local accounting network in the context of WP
• Respect of the reporting deadlines
• Quality of the reported Financial statements and deliverable to Bus and
• Quality of support/ value added delivered to internal clients (Local Bus, WA MMCD) and external parties (brokers, policyholders).

Profile

Market knowledge:

• Know own WP market basics and regulatory environment

Business expertise:

• Strong knowledge of insurance accounting rules
• Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting rules
• Proficiency in Excel, SAP / Taste for IT systems and projects

Interpersonal skills:

• Really good level of English
• Communication skills
• Proactive and Hands-on mentality
• Willing to work in a fast changing structure with many

projects in parallel:

• Experience in managing delegation & sharing of tasks &responsibilities with internal staff (In and out of his/her team and BU)

• Complexity and multi business units model.

• Large range of covered domains (deeply involved in IT systems, group projects, business)
