GameDuell GmbH

We are looking for a Social Media Manager (f/m/d*) who enjoys entertaining highly engaged player communities and creating compelling social experiences beyond gameplay. In this role, you will nurture and grow our social media presence mainly across the French community, ensuring players feel connected, heard, and excited to play our games.

Working within the Community Management team, you will help expand our existing presence, especially for our French speaking audience and potentially the US market.

The passion for creating high-quality games and the focus on a superior customer experience have made GameDuell one of the largest cross-platform games communities in the world. Since 2003, more than 130 million players have played with us.

You will enjoy a diverse variety of tasks and have the opportunity to use a wide range of both personal and professional qualities, including scientific, creative, and inter-personal skills.

YOUR TASKS

  • Conduct user research studies for entertainment products, using both qualitative and quantitative methods (usability test, interviews, diary studies, surveys, etc.)
  • Support recruiting the right research participants for different projects and schedule their study sessions
  • Deliver written and verbal reports of the study results
  • Identify research requirements and present findings to the designers
  • Participate in the development of new methods to explore and evolve the desirability of our gaming experiences
  • Work with different teams to prioritize research opportunities and support our lead researchers in the identification, planning, and execution of research opportunities, and presentation of the key findings

WHAT WE EXPECT

  • Currently enrolled as a student in Psychology, Cognitive Science, Human-Computer Interactions, Human Factors, Cultural Anthropology or similar
  • Fluent communication skills in English and at least C1 French, both oral and written.
  • Proven experience designing and executing research projects (academic and/or otherwise)
  • Experience in both qualitative and quantitative methodologies (e.g. questionnaire development and survey research, experiments, usability studies, interviewing, field studies, contextual inquiry, instrumentation, bio-metrics, etc.) is a plus.
  • Interest, experience, and awareness of any or all kinds of gaming (mobile/tablet, PC console, and/or board)

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Engaging tasks and new challenges
  • Independent work with interesting possibilities for your personal development
  • A versatile, friendly, and international team that guarantees fun on the job
  • One of the best working spaces in Berlin: our office in Mitte! Includes free soft drinks, fruit, pool table, table tennis, game events, sports courses, a sunny rooftop terrace, and much more!
  • Flexible working hours
