As a Warranty Auditor you support car manufacturers and importers by evaluating whether the handling of the warranty business at the dealerships corresponds to the given guidelines. You assess the claimed warranty repairs and report the discrepancies to the client in question. In addition you consult the dealer in applying a proper warranty administration process and contribute to a continuous improvement process in this specific area. This work is based on a freelance contract.

Your role includes

• making arrangements with the dealers for an audit by phone and mail
• preparation of the audit data
• outline the audit process to the dealership manager
• assess of the warranty claims and of the process of warranty administration at the dealerships
• set up an audit report
• debriefing of the dealership manager
• shipment of the audit report to Excon
• develop and refine the audit process accordingly
• report and substantiate results to the manufacturer

The ideal candidate fulfils the following profile and qualifications:

• You are a trained technician with a strong analytic sense, highly service-oriented and good in oral and written communication in French and in English
• You show a high affinity towards automotive engineering
• Your numeracy is very good
• You easily adapt to different situations and can communicate to staff of different levels in a dealership
• You are self-reliant, friendly but loyal and - if necessary - persistent
• Self-organizing your travels is familiar to you
• You are flexible, motivated to learn all the specifications for each client
• You organize your work with the internet, mobile phone and your notebook
• you are used to report to your clients the progress of your work
