Mission

The Industrial Cost Controller supports the value creation by ensuring reliable and efficient steering of product costs. Lead initiatives to optimize costs and give transparency.

Partner with Supply Chain Procurement Accounting.

Accountable for logistic SC overhead costs control.

Key tasks & responsibilities :

  • Provide analyses and reports for Supply Chain Management, Global SC.
  • Process Owners and global/regional Supply Managers on KPIs of global.
  • Supply Chain overheads including its target setting and monitoring in actuals budget and forecasts.
  • Measure periodically actual Surcharge calculation under/over coverage on Supply Chain overheads included in product costs as well target setting budget and planning.
  • Perform global distribution warehouse & logistic cost centers controlling in cooperation with Supply Chain Procurement and legal entities.
  • Prepare of its respective budget/forecasts to ensure efficient SC management and steering including target setting.
  • Measure periodically actual Surcharge calculation under/over coverage on Distribution Warehousing and Logistic costs included in product costs as well target setting budget and planning.
  • Collaborate and contribute with Global SCM to determine the best and optimized Material and Value flows and support to determine and follow-up the actions to achieve the optimization.
  • Ensure the reliability of the procurement savings on indirect purchase to ease validation and SC optimization proposition.
  • Provide to Group finance the relevant KPI’s and information on indirect procurement and service provider costs to monitor related Payables.

Qualifications & competencies

  • Master's degree in finance or Engineer degree.
  • At least 5 to 10 years' experience in industrial costing / controlling ; good knowledge of controlling principles and accounting impacts.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proactive, ability to work within a complex multicultural environment, good ability to work in a team with sense of priority, and capacity to synthesize information.
  • Has worked in international roles before.
  • Good knowledge in Controlling systems, ERP’s : MSD 365, Power-BI, Datalake/ Datawarehouse
