Your role and responsibilities
Your main missions will be to:
- Consolidate guidelines for generic solutions for surface backlighting applications, including
- Benchmark and definition of technical concept
- Definition of selection criteria according customer request
- Creation of standards for technical concepts incl. conception guidelines and bill of material
- Definition technical inputs and methodology for simulation
- Develop competences, modelization and database for optical characterization of the materials and the different interfaces.
- Support on innovation projects or programs, with different layering of material for backlighting function.
- Support for the optical and mechanical perimeter, the development of dynamical lighting solutions in collaboration with electronic group
- Support for the definition and prototyping of lighting demonstrators, to promote Faurecia lighting competence and concepts.
- Participate to creativity activities for new interior lighting solutions, based on benchmark on other domains
The mission will last 18 months.
Who are you?
- Master’s degree or Engineering diploma in Chemicals or Materials
- Fluent in English and French would be an advantage
- First experience in an Industrial and/or in a Research & Development environment would be a plus
- Standard PC software knowledge (MS Office, etc.) and comfortable with digital tools.
- Availability to work in multicultural environments and availability to travel
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Technological curiosity and passion
