V.I.E. Research Engineer (m/f) for functional automotive glazing, Herzogenrath

Your tasks

• You will support R&D activities in the projects “Head-up Display (HUD) Technology”
• Theoretical and experimental performance evaluation of HUD windshields
• Correlation of simulation with measurement data
• Acquisition, analysis and evaluation of real production data for HUD windshields
• Support of planning and production of prototypes for HUD windshields
• Literature surveys and intellectual property analysis
• Independent management of sub-projects
• Presentation of test results to project team and external collaborators
• Documentation of test results in meeting minutes and test reports

Your profile

• University degree, preferably with focus on physics, material science or engineering and
• have a well-grounded chemical, physical and technical background
• First experience in designing and performing experiments
• Passionate and motivated team player
• Strength in communication
• Independent and well-structured way of work, distinctive analytic thinking
• Very good command of English
• Good command of French and / or German is a plus

• The V.I.E. carries out his/her assignment in a French company operating overseas. Interns
• can work in a variety of domains.
• The latest your assignment can start is on the day of your 29th birthday. No exceptions
• can be made.
• You must have French or European nationality (i.e. be a national of a Member State of
• the European Economic Area, which includes the 28 Member States of the European
• Union including Norway, Iceland, Lichtenstein and Monaco)
